Follow me:

I write songs about life through the lens of my faith in a good and gracious God.

I dream of writing more songs and impacting people with a message of hope.

Can I ask a favor? If you like my songs, consider taking one small additional step. Like and/or share a YouTube video on Facebook or Twitter. Add one of my published songs on a Spotify playlist or purchase them at iTunes. Even just buying me a virtual cup of coffee would encourage me more than you know.

Every song I post also has a link to the lyric/chord chart in case you want to learn them. Drop me a note at my Contact page to let me know how the songs impacted your life. Nothing would make me happier than knowing that people all over are being encouraged and learning about Jesus through my songs.

I’m glad you’re here!

Encourage each other with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your hearts to the Lord. Always give thanks to God the Father for everything in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. – The Apostle Paul, Ephesians 5:19-20.

You can write anything!” – Andrea Stolpe, multiplatinum songwriter, performing artist, and educator at Berklee College of Music.
And so it began.

Her words, after 12 weeks of early morning and late night writing, editing, and recording sessions, encouraged me that this desire in my heart was also something I was pretty good at.

My musical journey began in my teens when my friends and I decided to start a band. We each decided what we wanted to play but then came the important task of first buying the instrument and then learning the instruments. I chose guitar because my musical heroes at the time were Peter Frampton, Eddie Van Halen, and of course, Jimmy Page. Not knowing anything about music or guitar and not having enough money to take lessons, I chose to teach myself the Led Zeppelin classic Stairway to Heaven from a book of Led Zeppelin tablature I purchase from my new discovery Flatts and Sharpe music on Sheridan Road in Chicago.
